THE WFT DAY CELEBRATION – GIFT A PLANT EVENTS
As part of our social responsibility, Pushpanjali’s is committed to work on raising awareness on environmental issues and climate change. For the second consecutive year, Pushpanjali’s celebrated the World Fair Trade Day on May 14th, 2011 and organized an event called “Gift a plant”.
The event was organized on a life line road of Agra MG Road – opposite to Agra college playground and next to the shopping market – where approximately 25000 peoples ride and walk every day. In the event, Pushpanjali’s with its producers and employees gifted a plant to the people who were driving, walking and doing shopping to make them feel the responsibility towards our Mother Earth planet. We also distributed leaflets containing information on environment and Fair Trade to raise awareness among the people and society.
